Prohens calls on the government to unblock the approval of the anti-crowding law

The president of the Govern held through social networks that "squatting is a crime and private property is defended".

El presidente del Gobierno, Pedro Sánchez, mantuvo un encuentro con la presidenta del Govern balear, Marga Prohens.

The president of the Govern, Marga Prohens, has called on the Spanish Government to «unblock now» the approval of the anti-occupation law, stressing that it is «essential» .

This has requested this Wednesday the leader of the Balearic Executive in a message on the social network X, after hearing the news that several people have ‘squatted’ a hotel establishment in Cala Bona, in Mallorca. Prohens has stressed that citizens «have to be able to rest assured that no one will squat their home or business when they are not there» and, in this regard, has assured that the Govern will take action within its powers. «As much as some deny it or even ask forgiveness from criminals, squatting is a crime and private property is defended. Always,» he concluded.
