La Cursa de s’Indiot returns one more year to give rhythm to the Ibizan winter. This race, born in the 80s, has established itself as one of the most beloved sporting events for residents and a tradition that combines sport, coexistence and festive atmosphere.
The 2025 edition will be held on Sunday, December 14, starting from Campanitx Street, in front of the municipal swimming pool Can Misses. The route will be circular and will take place between 9.30 and 12.00 hours, offering participants a competitive and fun experience.
A race with options for all ages

For its part, the cursa mini, with departure at 11.10 am, will offer a route of between 1 and 5 kilometers and will be aimed at children under 15 years and people with reduced mobility or special needs. In this case, the maximum number of participants will be 75.
This dual structure allows both experienced cyclists and families and children to enjoy the event, consolidating its inclusive and community character.

A sporting spirit that unites generations
In this edition, the organization will put a special emphasis on encouraging youth participation, with the aim of bringing cycling to new generations and reinforce the family spirit that has always defined this event. More than a simple competition, the Cursa de s’Indiot has become a collective celebration of Ibizan sport, where rivalry is mixed with camaraderie and tradition.
The race is promoted by the Consell d’Eivissa and organized by the entity Ibiza Blue Challenge, with the collaboration of the City Council of Eivissa, in charge of logistics and technical support. The institutions emphasize that keeping this event alive means preserving part of the island’s sporting and social heritage.
