The City Council of Sant Josep de sa Talaia, through the Department of Education and Equality, joins one more year the commemoration of the International Day against Violence and Bullying, including cyberbullying, which is celebrated every first Thursday of November. The initiative seeks to raise awareness among adolescents about the importance of building safe and empathetic environments, both within the classroom and in the digital environment.
A play to reflect and break the silence
This year, the students of 1st ESO of the schools of the municipality will attend the theatrical performance “No + Bullying”, by the company Inefable Produccions. The play combines emotion, humor and reflection to address the consequences of bullying and highlight the need to break the silence to any form of violence.
The performances will take place tomorrow, November 7, at the Auditori de Caló de s’Oli, with two shows: from 9:00 to 10:45 am and from 11:00 to 12:45 pm. Teachers and guidance teams will also participate, who will accompany the students during the activity to reinforce the messages of coexistence and respect.
Educating empathy to prevent violence
With this proposal, the council aims to promote values of respect, inclusion and tolerance, essential pillars to eradicate bullying among peers. The message is clear:
The City Council of Sant Josep reaffirms its commitment to the prevention of school violence and the promotion of the emotional well-being of children and adolescents. The local administration stresses the importance of the educational community -teachers, families and students- working together to create safe and trusting spaces where each student can fully develop.
