A 46-year-old man died this morning at the Can Misses Can Misses Hospital of Ibiza after falling from a height of about five meters in the area outside the Emergency Department, as confirmed by the Health Area of Ibiza and Formentera.
The incident occurred at 6:15 a.m., when the man, a Spanish national, sat on an outside wall and fell backwards, suffering a severe craniocerebral traumatism.
The hospital’s medical team intervened immediately, transferring the patient to the Emergency Department in an attempt to resuscitate him.
Despite the efforts of medical personnel, the man died shortly afterwards, according to the same official sources.
