The Second Section of the Provincial Court celebrates on Tuesday noon the trial against a man who was caught at a roadblock in Ibiza carrying cocaine to sell.
The prosecution is asking for a sentence of three and a half years in prison and a fine of 3,690 euros for events that occurred in July 2020 in Ibiza.
According to the indictment, the defendant was intercepted during a routine checkpoint and, upon seeing the agents, threw a bag containing cocaine across the median, which was recovered.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office points out that the accused was carrying in the bag 20 grams of cocaine with an illicit market value of 1,200 euros.
