The Consell de Govern has approved this Thursday to allocate 3.64 million euros to the renewal of the concert of the residential service for dependent elderly people in the Colisée Sa Residència center, managed by La Saleta Care SLU. The agreement will allow to maintain 114 places from December 1, 2025 to November 30, 2026, as explained the spokesman of the Balearic Executive, Antoni Costa.
Specific increase for Ibiza
The renewal incorporates a price update that will come into effect on June 1, 2025, designed to compensate for the higher cost of providing the service in Ibiza. Until now, the tariff was “insufficient to cover actual costs,” Costa said.
With the adjustment, the maximum price per seat will increase from €119.04 to €121.52 as of June 1, 2026.
Objective: to ensure the sustainability of the system
The Govern stresses that this tariff revision aims to guarantee the sustainability of the dependency care system and ensure the continuity of services on the island. To this end, the entities must prove the payment of supplements linked to personnel, building and rent, especially determining factors in Ibiza.
