Santa Eulària and Calvià are among the most expensive areas of Spain to buy a home in areas of high demand, according to the report for the third quarter of the year published Tuesday by the real estate portal idealista. The Ibizan town occupies the second position in the ranking, while the Mallorcan municipality is placed in third place.
Santa Eulària, only behind the most exclusive area
The study reveals that the average price of a home in Santa Eulària reaches 2.1 million euros, a figure that places it as one of the most exclusive locations in the country to buy a house.

Nearby is Calvià, with an average price of 1.7 million, consolidating itself as one of the main focal points of the luxury residential market in Mallorca.
Llucmajor and Palma also stand out in the ranking
The analysis also includes other Balearic locations with high prices in areas of strong demand. Llucmajor, with an average of 902,852 euros, ranks 12th on the list. For its part, Palma, with an average price of 801,396 euros, appears just behind, in 13th position.
In the case of Menorca, Ciutadella ranks 22nd, with an average sales price of 626,417 euros, also reflecting a stressed and high-value residential market.
Palma, among the most demanded cities to buy
In addition to the price, the idealista report analyzes the demand for housing in different Spanish locations. In this section, Palma ranks 21st among the cities with the greatest interest from buyers, which confirms the pressure of the real estate market in the Balearic capital.
A Balearic market at a record high
Data from the real estate portal once again places the Balearic Islands as one of the regions with the greatest pressure on housing prices, especially in coastal municipalities where national and international demand remains high. The report reflects that the gap between purchasing power and the cost of purchase continues to widen, consolidating the islands as one of the most expensive residential markets in the country.
