The City Council of Sant Joan has put out to tender three resurfacing actions aimed at improving the road surface and safety in different parts of the municipality, with a total investment of 1,986,588.65 euros. These works seek to reinforce roads that are heavily used by residents and visitors. The actions prioritize road safety, especially in rural areas with heavy local traffic.
The largest project is the rehabilitation of the road surface on the Benirràs road, one of the busiest roads. The tender, valued at 1,186,970.8 euros, includes reinforcement of the road surface, repair of potholes, improvement of drainage with prefabricated caissons, new protections and complete renovation of the horizontal and vertical signage. Companies may submit bids until December 3.
The second contract corresponds to the asphalt paving of the Camino Viejo de Benirràs, whose deterioration is attributed to the continuous passage of heavy vehicles. The budget amounts to 599,617.85 euros, with a completion period of 42 days and a deadline for bids on December 1. The project includes milling, paving and regularization of margins and shoulders, key interventions to return the road to its functionality and safety conditions.
The third tender provides for the resurfacing of several rural roads, specifically Cana Lluca and des Porrals, both publicly owned and regularly used by agricultural vehicles and residents. The investment will be
