The Consell d’Eivissa is once again participating in the IBTM World 2025 fair, held in Barcelona from November 18 to 20, to consolidate the island as a reference destination in the MICE -Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events- field and increase its presence in the international congress and incentive travel market.
A stand of its own and the largest business delegation in its history
This year Ibiza has its own 103.5 m² stand in the Europe pavilion of the Fira de Barcelona, which brings together 22 co-exhibitors, the highest number ever achieved by the island in this professional event. Hotels, venues, event organizers and incoming agencies will be taking part.

Key meetings to attract international business
The Ibiza Convention Bureau shares space with the Department of Tourism Promotion of the Consell, which has scheduled 38 professional meetings with specialized operators, travel agencies and event organizing companies from the main European and American markets.
IBTM World is considered the world’s leading trade fair for business tourism, with 12,000 participants and more than 2,300 international exhibitors. In the 2024 edition, more than 73,000 business meetings were held, 23% more than the previous year, and forecasts for 2025 confirm the growth of the MICE segment.
Promotion of a more sustainable and diversified tourism model
The president of the Consell Insular d’Eivissa, Vicent Marí, stressed that this international presence is part of the strategy to deseasonalize the season and diversify the tourist offer.
“Ibiza is committed to a model of quality, sustainable and respectful of the environment,” said Marí, stressing the importance of strengthening the island’s position in the European network of destinations specializing in congresses and corporate events.
With its participation in IBTM World 2025, the Consell reaffirms its commitment to position Ibiza as a competitive and attractive destination all year round, capable of attracting meetings and events with high added value.
