Christmas begins to appear in Ibiza, and with it that special glow that transforms routine into celebration. The municipalities finalize preparations to light up a season that, more than lights, ignites emotions: family outings, reunions, traditional markets and that warm spirit that every year envelops the island.
Between November 28 and December 5, Ibiza will experience a calendar of lighting that will mark the beginning of weeks long awaited by both locals and visitors to the island at this time of the year.
Sant Joan and Sant Antoni inaugurate the magic on November 28th
The first sparkle will come on November 28, when Sant Joan and Sant Antoni will turn on their lights to officially open Christmas.
In Sant Joan, the event will be held in Sant Vicent de sa Cala, in the Camp d’Aprenentatge, where a festive afternoon with chocolate, children’s workshops, photo booth and music will offer a meeting point for families and friends. The illumination will be just the beginning of an atmosphere that invites you to stay.

A day later, the city of Ibiza will live its own moment of magic. The City Council will open before the Fair of Attractions, which will operate every afternoon from this Friday, illuminating the family walks of those looking for the first plan of the season.
The big lighting will be on Saturday, November 29 at 18.30 pm, in the Queen Sofia Park, where the Christmas lights will color the main streets of Vila. On Monday, November 24, the full program will be presented, which will bring markets, concerts and shows for all ages.
Sant Josep and Santa Eulària close the calendar with their own charm
With the atmosphere already lit up in the north and in Vila, it will be the turn of the municipalities that complete the calendar.
In Sant Josep, the lighting will be activated on December 4 at 18.00 hours in the church square. A simple and endearing act that every year brings together neighbors eager to start December with light and tradition.
