The lighting of the Christmas lights will mark, once again, the official start of one of the most special times of the calendar in Ibiza. From November 28, the municipalities of the island will begin a staggered calendar of illuminations that will last until December 5 and will coincide with several days of stable weather, clear skies and mild temperatures, according to the weather forecast.

Ibiza City will live its big day on Friday, November 29, when in the Reina Sofia Park at 18.30 hours the Christmas magic is turned on. The day will come with a slight change in the sky, which will dawn overcast, although from noon the clouds will be opening. Maximum temperatures will reach 17 degrees. For the act of lighting is expected 14 degrees, light breeze from the east and total absence of precipitation, creating a comfortable atmosphere for the official start of Christmas in Ibiza.
Sant Josep will celebrate its lighting on December 4 at 6 pm, on a day marked by clouds and clear skies. Temperatures will range between 14 degrees in the morning and 17 degrees at noon. At the time of the act, the sky will tend to clear, with 15 degrees, moderate wind from the east and excellent visibility.
The cycle of inaugurations will conclude on December 5 in Santa Eulària, which will turn on its lighting at 18 hours under an equally calm weather scenario. It is expected a day with clouds and clear, temperatures ranging between 13 and 17 degrees and moderate wind from the south. During the afternoon, the values will remain between 15 and 16 degrees, which will allow to celebrate without setbacks the beginning of Christmas in the Plaza of Spain.
