The final stretch of OT 2025 kicked off with a gala full of tension, crossed emotions and decisions that divided the audience. The Amazon Prime Video program experienced a night of great performances, tight percentages and one of the most dramatic moments of the edition: the expulsion of Téyou, considered by many as one of the contestants with the greatest projection towards the last phase of the musical talent.
Since the joint nomination of Téyou and Guillo Rist was announced, fans were already anticipating what they called an imminent dramOT: both were among the audience’s most beloved potential finalists. But, as the gala itself reminded, only one could remain.
Téyou’s expulsion: an unexpected blow for the public
The night began with a bang, with two group performances that marked the singer’s farewell. In the traditional opening, the eight contestants performed “Saturno” with Pablo Alborán, a moment that was received with a standing ovation both on set and on social networks.
The second performance, more symbolic, brought together Cristina, Claudia Arenas, Olivia and Téyou, who sang “Lobo” with Elena Gadel, former contestant of the historic second edition. The choice of the song was not accidental: it was performed on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and served to make visible, from the stage, the denouncement against male violence.

After the performances, the moment of truth arrived. Chenoa, with two percentages as tight as few times in the edition– “52% against 48%”-announced that Guillo Rist was the saved contestant: “OT viewers have decided, with 52% of the votes, that Guillo Rist should remain in the Academy”.
The set was filled with emotions. Téyou thus became the ninth expelled from OT 2025, saying goodbye with the words of Chenoa, who thanked her for her “authenticity”, and with the applause of her colleagues, who said goodbye to her with tears and hugs.
Tinho, new favorite: double celebration on a night of contrasts

With Tinho safe for the next gala, the jury faced what they defined as a “thankless situation”: choosing nominees after a night of particularly brilliant performances. After evaluating the performances one by one, they gave the direct pass to Cristina and Olivia, whom they congratulated for their artistic level.
The last nominations: emotion, doubts and a painful decision
The hardest part came when the judges expressed their reasons for leaving four contestants in doubt: Guille Toledano, Crespo, Guillo and Claudia. The evaluations were as heartfelt as they were forceful.
The first nomination was announced by Cris Regatero, pointing to Crespo for “not enjoying it like other times”. Abraham Mateo, for his part, praised Guillo’s work, but still nominated him for the nomination, recognizing that it was a decision almost made by “drawing lots”. Guille Milkyway described Guille Toledano ‘s performance as “a beautiful performance”, but insufficient to stand out from the rest. Finally, Leire Martínez spoke with Claudia about the progress made with her voice problems, although she concluded that “not enough”, leaving her also in doubt .

In an attempt to balance the scales, the teachers saved Claudia. It was then up to the classmates to decide between Guillo and Guille Toledano. Tinho’s vote, which was worth double because of his status as favorite, ended up tipping the balance in favor of Guille.
Thus, the last two nominees of the edition were defined: Guillo Rist and Crespo will have to face each other in gala 11 for a place in the semifinal. The most emotional moment was Crespo’s when he addressed his partner and friend: “We are going to live the nomination with our hearts because he is my best friend”.
A gala marked by twists and turns, emotion and an unpredictable outcome
Gala 10 of OT 2025 leaves a completely open scenario, with an expelled contestant that nobody expected, a renewed favorite and a nomination that pits two inseparable contestants against each other. A decisive week for the program, the teachers, the jury and, above all, for the fans who are already counting the days for a final that promises strong emotions.
