The Pitiusa Association of Historical Recreation Iboshim will celebrate on Saturday, November 29, 2025 the central event of its XV anniversary, a day entitled “15 years of history” that will take place at the Cultural Center of Jesus and will bring together authorities, partners, former members and collaborators.
The entity, founded in 2010, has become a cultural reference in the Pitiusas Islands thanks to its work in research, dissemination and recreation of the Phoenician-Punic and Mediterranean past of the region.
During the last decade and a half, Iboshim has developed projects that combine historical rigor with educational outreach, with the aim of making cultural heritage accessible to the population. Its activity has contributed to strengthen the collective knowledge about the Mediterranean roots of the island, consolidating its role as a key entity in the historical and recreational field.
An institutional act of remembrance and gratitude
The ceremony will begin at 18:00 hours and will be attended by representatives of cultural and social entities, as well as the management of the association. The event will include a journey through the trajectory of Iboshim through explanations and audiovisual material, as well as the delivery of a personalized souvenir to all the people and institutions that have supported the entity throughout these fifteen years.
“The celebration is not just a date, it is a recognition of all the people who have made it possible for Iboshim to get to where it is today. Fifteen years of projects, commitment and collective work that look to the future with the same enthusiasm of the first day,” said the management of the association. The event has the collaboration of the City Council of Santa Eulària and the Cultural Center of Jesus.
