Ibiza is getting ready to receive a new edition of 3 Days Trail Ibiza, which from 28 to 30 November 2025 will once again turn the Pitiusas into the national focus of trail running. The event, which combines competition, nature and the island’s own magnetism, celebrates this year its most multitudinous edition, with more than 1,000 runners registered and a top-level sports line-up.
Among the most anticipated names is Pablo Ibáñez, who will make his debut both in the event and in Ibiza, competing in the 73.5 km Ultra. The Kailas Fuga runner arrives in an exceptional moment after his exciting victory in 2025 in the Trail Camí de Cavalls, a year after losing the race 50 meters from the finish line. His sporting growth includes a podium in the Ultra Trail de Tarragona and a fourth place in the Ultra de Canfranc.
A magical start among walls and stars
The event will kick off on Friday at 7:00 pm with the popular Nocturna 10K, an explosive test that will run through the most emblematic corners of the historic center. Starting and finishing at the Sargantana Children’s Park, the runners will face two laps with 320 positive meters and a night passage through Dalt Vila, one of the most iconic moments of the weekend.
Saturday, competitive epicenter with long distances
Saturday will concentrate the highest sporting level of the event, with four races for different profiles of runners:
Ultra Trail – 73,5 km – 2.100+
Departure at 06.00 h from Dalt Vila and finish in Sant Josep. It is the queen race and the one that will bring together the big favorites: Zaid Ait Malek, Jesús Gil, Marc Bernades, Enric Pons, Julen Calvó, Urko Valdivieso, Pepelu Ballester and Pablo Ibáñez.
In the women’s category, the presence of Núria Picas gives a historical character, accompanied by Gemma Arenas, Ana María Jiménez Gálvez, Àngels Llobera and the German Carina Helmreich.

Marathon – 42 km – 1,936+
Departure at 09.30 h from Sant Josep. The big star will be Pau Capell, one of the most influential trail runners in the world.
Half Marathon – 21 km – 1,163+
Start at 11.00 h from Es Cubells. Among the favorites are Antonio Martínez, Iván Calvó, Iván Moreno, Xavier Villalonga, David Soto and Chema Martínez, European champion.
10K Starter – 550+
At 11.15 am from Cala d’Hort, with Es Vedrà as a backdrop. Highlights include the participation of the blind runner María Petit, guided by Pol Makuri, and the Mallorcan Bel Calero, reinforcing the inclusive spirit of the event.
Ibañez, ambitious on his debut
“To take the race would be great. I think I’ll have a chance. The profile adapts very well to my characteristics,” said Ibáñez, although he was cautious: “We have to see what rivals we find. We have to be aware of the place that belongs to us”. He also confessed that competing on the island would be a boost for a possible participation in Transgrancanaria.
Santa Eulària closes the sports weekend
On Sunday, at 11.00 am, Santa Eulària des Riu will host the final race: a daytime 10K of 440 positive meters starting and finishing at Paseo S’Alamera. A perfect closure for three days in which sport, tourism and nature merge through the Ibizan trails.
3 Days Trail Ibiza is sponsored by Ibiza Tourism and co-financed by the Sustainable Tourism Tax, reaffirming the island’s commitment to a sustainable and quality sports model.
