The always controversial Javi Poves, president of Colonia Moscardó and known for his terraplanning theories, has once again staged one of the most tense press conferences of the season. After losing 3-0 to CF Fuenlabrada, the leader not only expressed his deep disappointment, but also publicly listed the players whose contracts he would terminate in the upcoming winter transfer window. An outburst that is already circulating in networks and has once again placed him at the center of the controversy.

Poves did not avoid the question about which players he considers responsible for the team’s bad moment. On the contrary, he answered with jaw-dropping clarity.

Not only did he point them out, but he justified his opinion with a phrase that sums up his diagnosis of the team: “Bad players make bad teams“. In a mixture of criticism and affection, he also added: “I feel very angry for Borja Paris or Nacho Recalde, they are players I appreciate“.
Moscardó is currently second to last in Group 5 of the Second Federation, with 11 points from 13 games, which exacerbates the manager’s frustration.

He also assured that, despite the team’s bad situation, his personal life and his way of understanding existence remain intact: “Spiritually and as a way of life it is impossible for it to go badly because I have the people who love me on my side… although in sporting terms I am not having a good time“.
A singular president at a critical moment
Colonia Moscardó is going through a delicate situation in the competition, and the figure of Poves, charismatic for some, eccentric for others, has become one more component of the crisis.
His particular vision of the world, his way of managing the club and his public reactions have turned his every appearance into a media event. But this time, with the team sinking in the standings and after a new blow on the pitch, Poves has opted for the crudest way: to point the finger at his own players and expose them openly.
