International Day of Persons with Disabilities in San Antonio

The City Council of San Antonio will hold on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 an informative day on the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, a meeting designed to bring families, professionals and citizens closer to the main legislative developments and resources available on the island.

The session, which will take place from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in the Auditorium of the Cervantes Cultural Center, will focus on the amendments introduced by Law 8/2021, a key reform that updated civil and procedural legislation to ensure the full and accompanied exercise of the legal capacity of persons with disabilities.

The program includes practical explanations on how these changes are applied in everyday life, by a panel of specialists from the social and legal fields: – María Victoria Torre Sustaeta, Doctor in Law and judge of the Court of First Instance No. 4 of Ibiza and Formentera – Representatives of Fundació Aldaba: Susana Rodríguez González (social worker) and Ramona Bagú Aguilar (lawyer) – Members of Fundació CIAN: Ana Moragues Mayans (social worker) and Alberto Rosauro Vivancos (lawyer)
