Third Ibiza Slaughtering Fair in San Lorenzo

The City Council of Sant Joan celebrates the III Fira de Sa Matança, the Third Slaughter Fair of Ibiza, on Saturday, December 13, 2025 in the village of San Lorenzo, a day dedicated to one of the most emblematic gastronomic traditions of the island. The fair will take place from 12:00 to 19:00 hours.

The event brings together every year many neighbors and visitors attracted by the festive atmosphere and the taste of traditional dishes made with pork, the undisputed protagonist of the day. There will be contests and tastings of typical recipes such as frita de porc, squid with sobrasada or rice slaughter.

Throughout the day there will be gastronomic demonstrations, sale of local products, live music, family activities and cultural proposals linked to the peasant tradition, in an environment that keeps intact the essence of the Ibizan slaughters.
