Next Thursday, December 18, starting at 17.00 hours, the Cas Serres indoor soccer field, in the municipality of Ibiza, will host the III Campeonato de Ibiza de Tir amb Bassetja, a sporting event that reaches its third edition this year and that once again bets on inclusion and citizen participation.
The championship will be played in the form of tennis ball and will be open to all who wish to participate, regardless of age or condition, with the aim of bringing this traditional sport of the Balearic Islands to Ibizan society from an inclusive perspective.
Adapted categories and prizes for all
The competition will have different categories, which will be adapted according to the age and specific needs of each participant, including boys, girls and adults. The organization has made provision for personalized adjustments according to the abilities and difficulties of those registered, thus ensuring an accessible and equitable experience.
At the end of the championship, prizes will be awarded to the first three classified in each category, in addition to souvenir medals for all participants and accompanying monitors, in recognition of their involvement in the day.
Institutional support and change of date
The III Campeonato de Ibiza de Tir amb Bassetja has the collaboration of the Consell d’Eivissa and the councils of Culture and Sports of the Ajuntament d’Eivissa, as well as the support of private companies such as Pizza Hut, Frutos Secos Ibiza and Euronics.
Unlike previous editions, which were held during the weekend, this year the competition has been scheduled during the week due to the numerous commitments prior to Christmas and the saturation of sports facilities on weekends, which made their availability difficult.
JASA Club Acknowledgements and registration
From the JASA Club, organizer of the event, wanted to thank the involvement of the collaborating institutions and associations registered, with a special mention to ADDIF, with which the club maintains a regular collaboration. They also highlighted the contribution of Vicent Costa, from AFES, an expert in adapted and inclusive sports, for his support and advice.
Registrations can be made at the same place of the competition, in the facilities of Cas Serres, shortly before the start of the championship.
