The City Council of Sant Josep de sa Talaia, through the Department of Youth, has presented a new edition of Divernadal 2025, a playful and educational proposal that will once again turn the Poliesportiu de Can Guerxo into the epicenter of Christmas in the municipality.
The event will be held from December 27 to 30, from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm and from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm, with an expanded program designed for children and young people to enjoy, create and share experiences during the Christmas vacations.
Municipal commitment to quality leisure at Christmas time
The Councillor for Sports, Youth and Transparency, Xicu Ribas, stressed that “Divernadal is a clear commitment of the City Council to offer quality leisure alternatives during Christmas, designed for all children and young people in our municipality”. In addition, he has advanced that the Christmas program promoted by the Department of Youth will be completed in the coming weeks with family puppet theater in different parts of Sant Josep.
This edition is also the second organized directly by the Youth Department, which consolidates a project that combines children and youth leisure with the promotion of youth employment, offering job opportunities to young people in the municipality as monitors during the Christmas period.

Activities to play, create and share
Divernadal 2025 is aimed at children and young people between the ages of 0 and 16 and will have free admission. However, children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
The program includes a wide variety of activities, including creative and craft workshops, storytelling, cookie workshop, face painting, Fischer Tips and Hama Beads workshops, escape rooms, video game area and giant inflatables, designed for different ages and interests.
What’s new at Divernadal 2025
Among the main novelties this year is the interactive game “The ground is lava”, a dynamic and participatory experience that promises to be one of the main attractions of the program. There will also be a toy library with a specific space for children from 0 to 3 years of age, adapted to their needs.
In addition, the inflatable area will be expanded, with more space and more proposals than in the previous edition, and a specific area for young people, managed by the Dynamization Service, will be set up with board games and video games.
The City Council of Sant Josep de sa Talaia encourages children, young people and families, both residents and visitors who spend the holidays on the island, to participate in the activities of Divernadal 2025, an event already consolidated in the Christmas calendar of the municipality.
