The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) forecasts a start of the week marked by weather instability in Ibiza, with widespread rain, north wind and a significant drop in temperatures, especially between Monday and Tuesday.
Regarding Vila, for this Monday, January 5, the probability of precipitation reaches 100% throughout the day, with overcast skies and persistent rain. Temperatures will remain contained, with highs of 12 degrees and lows around 10, while the wind chill will be lower, and may drop to 4 degrees at some times of the day. The wind will blow from the northeast with speeds close to 15 kilometers per hour.
The situation will remain on Tuesday, January 6, Epiphany, with showers very likely during much of the day, although they will tend to subside from the afternoon. The wind will gain prominence, with gusts that could reach 50 kilometers per hour at the end of the day, and temperatures will continue to fall, with highs of 11 degrees and lows of 8. The snow level in the province will be around 400 to 500 meters.
From Wednesday, January 7, a progressive improvement of the weather is expected. Precipitation will be unlikely and will give way to cloudy intervals, although the wind will continue to blow with intensity, with gusts that could reach 50 kilometers per hour. Minimum temperatures will drop to 4 degrees, while maximum temperatures will rise slightly to 14.
Thursday and Friday will consolidate the more stable weather, with little cloudy skies or with intervals of high clouds and no rain. Temperatures will be on the rise, reaching highs of between 15 and 16 degrees, although the wind from the west and northwest will continue to blow strongly, with gusts that could exceed 60 kilometers per hour at times.
Looking ahead to the weekend, the forecast points to mostly stable weather, with a low probability of precipitation, low cloudy skies and mild temperatures for the time of year, keeping highs around 15 degrees.
