Ibiza airport will manage 146 flights between Tuesday and Wednesday, in the middle of the Epiphany holiday, according to data from Aena. Of these, 126 will be domestic flights and 20 international, which is just four operations less than the same period last year.
In the Balearic archipelago as a whole, 692 flights will be operated during these two days, which represents a drop of 13.5% compared to the same dates in 2025, when 800 movements were recorded. Aena attributes this difference to the fact that in 2025 Epiphany fell on a Monday, as opposed to Tuesday this year, which reduces the number of long weekend trips.
Despite the general decline in the Balearic Islands, Ibiza hardly notices the setback. The figures show a stability in the island’s air connectivity, especially in a low season period such as January.
Son Sant Joan concentrates the highest traffic
Palma airport will be, as usual, the busiest airport in the Balearic Islands, with 472 scheduled operations, divided between 332 domestic flights and 140 international flights. This represents a reduction of 102 flights compared to the previous year.
For its part, Menorca airport will operate 74 flights during these two days, of which 72 will be domestic and only two international, a decrease of two flights compared to the same period in 2025.
