A billboard has collapsed this Friday in the parking lot of the Híper Centro in Ibiza and has fallen on a parked vehicle, causing significant material damage. The event occurs in a context of adverse weather conditions throughout the Balearic archipelago. The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has activated for the day yellow warnings for wind gusts of up to 70 kilometers per hour and adverse coastal phenomena, with waves that could reach three meters high.
The incident, which, in principle, would not have caused any injuries, has been disseminated through a video posted by the account Exponiendo Ibiza, which shows the damage suffered by the car, a Mercedes Benz after the impact of the metal structure.
The meteorological services recommend extreme caution due to the risk of landslides and the fall of unstable elements, especially in urban areas, as evidenced by the incident recorded in the parking lot of the Híper Centro in Ibiza.
