The City Council of Ibizathrough the area of Beautification, has started this Tuesday the work of painting the streetlights in Aragon Street. This action seeks to improve the general condition of the road, renewing the metal structures that have suffered significant deterioration due to exposure to weathering and the impact of pet urine. As reported by the consistory, the lampposts will receive a new coat of specially resistant paint, designed to guarantee their durability. This material protects against the usual external aggressions and will allow the lampposts to remain in good condition for a longer period of time, as well as improving their aesthetics.
How long will the work last?
The work began on Tuesday afternoon and will last for a maximum of three days. During this time, the litter garbage cans attached to the lampposts will be temporarily removed, and small garbage cans will be set up so that passers-by can deposit their waste. The garbage collection service will not be affected, as the usual containers will continue to operate normally.
