Overqualified and underrated, Rita is a lawyer at a large law firm who one day receives an unexpected offer: to help a feared cartel boss retire from his business and disappear forever by becoming the woman she has always dreamed of being. Jacques Audiard directs Emilia Pérez, the film won the Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival and the award for Best Female Performance with Adriana Paz, Karla Sofía Gascón, Selena Gomez, and Zoe Saldaña in the cast. The musical hits theaters this weekend as one of the most anticipated releases. Set in a single room, Here follows the many generations of inhabitants who made that room their home. An original story of love, loss, laughter and life, it will take you on a journey from the distant past to the near future. This exciting journey, directed by Robert Zemeckis, will take place, from beginning to end, in one place. Juana Acosta, Israel Elejalde and Julián Román star in La fianza, the film directed by Gonzalo Perdomo in which, after celebrating her daughter’s sixth birthday, Ana receives an unwelcome visit. Directed by Martín Cuervo, ¿Quién es quién? stars Kira Miró and Salva Reina, who play the parents of a peculiar family completed by Elena Irureta, Sofía Otero, Martí Cordero and Ana Jara. The film is a family comedy that talks about universal issues such as family relationships and the need to better understand each other.

Superklaus is a digitally animated Christmas comedy, directed by Andrea Sebastiá and Canadian Steven Majaury, that reinvents the classic elements and symbols of Christmas, fusing them with the world of superheroes. The result is a film in which Santa Claus transforms into SuperKlaus to save Christmas from a fearsome villain. Peter Jackson presents a new journey back to Middle-earth through the eyes of director Kenji Kamiyama. The anime The Lord of the Rings: War of the Rohirrim returns audiences to the epic world brought to life in The Lord of the Rings trilogy, based on the books by J.R.R. Tolkien. The voice cast is led by Brian Cox as Helm Hammerhand, the mighty king of Rohan; Gaia Wise as his daughter Héra; and Luke Pasqualino as Wulf. Miranda Otto reprises her role as Éowyn. Set 183 years before the events narrated in the original trilogy, the anime film chronicles the fate of the House of Helm Hammerhand, the legendary King of Rohan. Solo Leveling: ReAwakening will reopen the anime year with its return in which, after more than a decade since a path called a “portal” connecting this world to an alternate dimension suddenly appeared, and people with superhuman powers called “hunters” have awakened.
