On Sunday, Peña Deportiva was defeated by UE Olot by 2-0 in the framework of the 15th date of the Segunda RFEF. The Ibizan team had just come from a draw, in a controversial match, against the leader of the division and wanted to score on the road, but in front of them they found a tough opponent. From the first minutes of the match, the home team was much better than the teamfrom Santa Eulària, as they dominated the ball and had the initiative. Olot’s good momentum paid off, as after 28minutes Uri Ayala was able to score the first goal. Minutes later, at 42 minutes, Maynau sent the ball into the back of the net, allowing the home side to go into the break with more peace of mind. With the result against them, the Ibizan team started the second half with the motivation to try to turn the result around. However, Olot decided to defend with a lot of energy and prevented the Ibizans from reaching their goal with clarity. Despite the visitors’ attempts, the locals defended well and won the match.
