The City Council of Santa Eulària has celebrated this morning the official act of inauguration of Félix Julio Valverde Olivares as the new chief deputy inspector of the Local Policereplacing Juan Carlos Mora, who has requested the voluntary relief of the position to assume new responsibilities within the same body. The ceremony, presided over by Mayor Carmen Ferrer, was attended by the Councillor for Public Safety, Juan Carlos Roselló, and served as a stage to highlight the professionalism of both commanders. Valverde, born in Santa Eulària in 1986, is a member of the 33rd Promotion of Local Police of the Balearic Islands and accumulates an outstanding career in the field of public safety. Graduated in Security and Police Sciences, as well as in Law, and with a degree in Criminology, Valverde has worked in different units of the corps since he joined in 2005, after a brief stint in the Local Police of Eivissa.
A new stage with experience and commitment
In her speech, the mayor highlighted the credentials of the new chief deputy inspector and wished him the best in his new role. “Santa Eulària has a committed security team, and with Félix Valverde at the helm I am sure we will continue to move forward for the benefit of citizens,” Ferrer stressed. She also thanked Juan Carlos Mora for his work, describing him as a professional who is close and sensitive to the needs of both his colleagues and neighbors. In recognition of his dedication, Mora received a commemorative plaque.

The change in the leadership of the Local Police of Santa Eulària represents a new chapter for the municipality in its commitment to ensure the safety and tranquility of the neighbors.
