The Civil Guard has arrested the perpetrator of several robberies committed between July and September in a warehouse in Sant Antoni de Portmany. As reported Thursday by the armed Institute, the facts date back to last July when the alleged perpetrator first entered the warehouse by forcing a window. Once he had stolen different utensils and was about to leave the place, he met a member of the cooperative who, noticing that the window was broken, asked him what he had done, after which the alleged perpetrator threatened him and quickly fled the place. In the following months, the owner of the warehouse went to the Guardia Civil to file several complaints about the facts. In addition, from time to time, someone forced the window of the premises to gain access to the interior and stole different items and food, stealing more than 6,000 euros between electronic terminals and different items. After receiving the corresponding complaint, the Guardia Civil initiated an investigation that culminated in the identification of the alleged perpetrator, against whom a search and arrest warrant was issued. The 32-year-old man was arrested as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of continuous burglary and presented before the judicial authorities.
