The Ibiza Town Hall resumes its popular hiking and cycling routes, with routes aimed at people over 12 years old who wish to explore the island actively and in good company. Next Sunday, November 17, the activities start with two different routes: a hiking route of 10.5 kilometers and a cycling route of 27 kilometers. Both departures are scheduled at 9:30 a.m., starting from the Es Viver Pavilion for hikers and from the Abel Matutes Juan Boulevard in Playa d’en Bossa for cyclists. These routes are designed for a moderate pace, although participants must have a minimum physical condition, as some sections may be somewhat more technical.
Registration open at Can Misses and Es Viver
Those interested can register from Monday to Friday at the municipal swimming pools of Can Misses and Es Viver, with a cost of 5 euros per activity. It is important to note that last minute registrations will not be accepted on the day of the routes. Some of the hiking routes will have a bus service, but in case you want to bring pets, they must go in their carrier. In the cycling routes, pets will not be allowed. The second deputy mayor and Councilor for Sports of the City Council of Ibiza, Catiana Fuster, is enthusiastic about the return of these activities: “Sport brings multiple benefits, and we are confident that citizens will be encouraged to participate in these routes in the coming months”.
