On November 23 at 19.00, the church of Sant Mateu will become the stage for the second concert of the cycle ‘Ones de llum’, a series of five classical music performances with a video mapping show. video mapping created specifically for each venue. This cycle, organized by the Department of Culture of the City Council of Sant Antoni and produced by Eivissa Escènica, offers a unique experience that combines music and visual art to enhance the atmosphere of the most iconic places in the municipality.
To ensure safety and respect the capacity of the Church of Sant Mateu,the capacity for the concert is limited and interested persons can pick up free tickets 45 minutes before the start of the event.
Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, following the established queue, until all available seats are sold out.
In this second date, the public will enjoy a trio of sax, percussion and synthesizers performed by musicians Pau Torres (sax), Noel Sàez (percussion) and Carlos Vesperinas (synthesizers). In addition, in one of the works, these Ibizan musicians will have the collaboration of the soprano singer Isabel Albaladejo.
The program will include works such as Mishhima by Philip Glass, Echo Sax End by Caleb Arredondo or The Ecstasy of Gold by Ennio Morricone, among many others.
The visual show, by artist Jesús de las Heras, has been designed specifically for each church, adapting the light projections and video mapping to the architecture and atmosphere of each space. The fusion between music and visual effects will allow attendees to enjoy a dialogue between sound and light, creating a complete sensory experience and transforming the church of Sant Mateu into a space of emotions and creativity.
About the cycle ‘Ones de llum’.
This cycle of concerts seeks to bring culture and performing arts to Sant Antoni at a less crowded time of the year, expanding the cultural offerings for residents and promoting local talent. In the coming dates, ‘Ones de llum’ will take this proposal to other churches in the municipality, with exclusive musical and visual programs for each of them. Admission to all concerts is free and free until full capacity is reached.
Eivissa Escènica, the new producer of cultural events in Ibiza
Eivissa Escènica was born in Ibiza by Carlos Vesperinas, Elisa Ortiz and Ana Corona after their firm commitment to local talent and cultural events created by and for the island and its inhabitants.
