The municipality of Sant Antoni de Portmany is finalizing the preparations to receive the Christmas season Christmasand among them is the lighting of the lights of the Christmas tree already located in the Passeig de ses Fonts. The traditional lighting of the lights in the Passeig de ses Fonts will take place next Friday, November 29, at 18:30 hours, sources from the City Council have confirmed to La Voz de Ibiza.
Locals have already begun to share photos on social networks, showing the first Christmas decorations in the emblematic square, which is gradually filling with color and festive spirit. This event, which is held every year, is one of the most anticipated traditions in Sant Antoni. Beyond illuminating the public space, the lighting of the lights symbolizes the official start of the Christmas holidays and brings together families, friends and visitors. Passeig de Ses Fonts is the entrance to Sant Antoni from the Eivissa and Sant Josep roads. It is so called because of the different fountains that it exhibits and that at night offer a spectacle of light and water.
