Europa Press. Rapper Jay-Z Jay-Z has been accused, in a lawsuit this Sunday, December 8, of raping a 13-year-old girl in 2000 along with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, who was already charged last September with sex trafficking and racketeering, NBC reports.
The victim, identified under the pseudonym ‘Jane Doe,’ noted in the complaint that the assault occurred after she was taken to an MTV Video Music Awards after-party. The federal lawsuit was originally filed in October in the Southern District of New York, and named Combs as a defendant. The cited media outlet adds that this past Sunday, the lawsuit was refiled to include Jay-Z. According to the document, the victim arrived at the party after accosting several limo drivers to gain access to the event. A driver who worked for Combs facilitated her entry, claiming she “fit” with what Diddy was looking for, according to NBC. The victim had to sign a document he believed to be a confidentiality agreement upon arrival to gain entry to the party, which, according to the lawsuit, was filled with celebrities and people using marijuana and cocaine. She was offered a drink that made her feel “dizzy, lightheaded and felt she needed to lie down,” the lawsuit says. Jay-Z subsequently removed her clothes, restrained her and raped her while Combs and an unnamed female celebrity watched. The victim says Combs also raped her while the other rapper and the woman watched.
Jay-Z’s reaction to the rape claim
The rapper, according to the aforementioned media outlet, has called the allegations “idiotic.”“These accusations are so heinous that I implore you to file a criminal complaint, not a civil one. Whoever commits such a crime against a minor should be imprisoned, don’t you think. These alleged victims would deserve real justice if that were the case,” Jay-Z has said in a statement to NBC News. In the case of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, last May 22, former model Crystal McKinney denounced the rapper for an alleged rape in 2003 when she was 22 years old, an accusation that was added to the five complaints filed by various victims for sexual violence and abuse. In addition, last September he was charged with sex trafficking and racketeering after being arrested in New York six months after U.S. authorities investigated his Los Angeles and Miami addresses as part of a sex trafficking investigation.
