The union section of CCOO in Ibiza and Formentera has advanced that next Wednesday the technicians in sanitary emergencies of GSAIB will go out to demonstrate for“the abandonment and the false promises” of the company and the administration. In a statement, they explained that the company Gestión Sanitaria y Asistencial de Balears (GSAIB) promised months ago to pay a part of the workers a bonus of difficult coverage, leaving aside the workers of the programmed service. The latter are not considered difficult to cover, which they consider contradictory because to date they have never managed to cover the operation at 100 percent, as they have lamented from CCOO. The union has recalled that the company promised to give the facility that all staff who wanted to could move from one service to another, a point that was agreed for workers to return to cover extraordinary guards and not leave the service inoperative. “As of today we are going to December and the bonus of difficult coverage does not arrive and the other promises are not fulfilled either,” they concluded.
