A gas leak has generated fear early this morning in the street Aragon number 78 in the municipality of Vila, which has demanded the deployment of the Fire Department of Ibiza.
It all happened at 4:39 a.m. this Saturday morning when firefighters had to intervene in a leak on the outside of a supply company pipe. The alert had been generated from the complaint of a neighbor in the area. The incident was caused by acts of vandalism in the installation, as reported by the Fire Department of Ibiza.

“After beaconing the area and verifying that there was no danger, we proceeded to close the valve on the outside. A technician from the company (Redexis) was in charge of the repair,” they added. The crew consisted of a fire engine, a corporal and three firemen. The Local Police, on the other hand, was in charge of perimetering the area affected by the gas pipe rupture. Fortunately, there were no injuries.
