The Civil Guard, with the support of the National Police, has initiated an investigation after the discovery of the lifeless body of a man, a resident of Badajoz, inside a vehicle stopped on the BA-022 road, next to the Tres Arroyos urbanization. The event occurred this Monday around 14:30 hours, according to official sources. The place remains cordoned off while several teams of the Civil Guard, including the judicial police, inspect the vehicle, which shows signs of a possible homicide by firearm. So far, no further details have been released about the identity of the victim or the circumstances of the incident. The BA-022 road, which connects Badajoz with Corte de Peleas, remains closed to traffic while the relevant proceedings are being carried out. Authorities have asked drivers to avoid the area and use alternative routes.
