A man has died and three other people, two men and a woman, have been injured in a violent brawl with firearms and knives recorded during the early hours of New Year’s Eve in Puente Genil (Cordoba). As reported by the Civil Guard, the incident took place around 2:00 am in Bailen Street in this town. The deceased has been transferred to the Forensic Anatomical Institute of Cordoba for the autopsy, while the three injured were admitted to the Reina Sofia Hospital in Cordoba. Among the injured is a man who has been arrested as part of the Guardia Civil’s ongoing investigation. The event has generated commotion in the municipality, where the local authorities have requested caution and citizen collaboration to clarify the facts.
