La SD Ibiza has announced the incorporation of its second reinforcement for the season: goalkeeper José Perales, a 31-year-old goalkeeper with a solid career in both Spanish and international soccer. Perales, who arrives free from CD Atlético Paso, has experience in competitions such as the First Federation, the former Second Division B and the Georgian League, where he defended the colors of Dinamo Tbilisi, even playing in a preliminary phase of the Europa League. The goalkeeper has accumulated a total of 76 matches in the First Federation, 52 in the Second Division B and 34 in the Georgian League, in addition to having made his debut in the Second Division with Nàstic de Tarragona. Throughout his career, he has played in teams such as Alcoyano, San Fernando, Badalona, Atlético Baleares, among others, consolidating himself as a reliable and versatile player.
Commitment and motivation
In his first statements as a Celestial player, Perales expressed his enthusiasm for joining the Ibiza project: “I have been following SD Ibiza for a long time and I know how they work. It is a club with ambition and desire to grow, and I am delighted to be part of this project. On other occasions I was close to coming, but now the timing is perfect,” said the new reinforcement after making his debut in a friendly against Penya Deportiva. Perales describes himself as a sober and confident goalkeeper, who seeks to transmit confidence to his teammates in every play: “I try to make things easy and be one more when we have the ball,” he said.
Looking ahead
The goalkeeper also spoke about his expectations for this mid-season: “I want to bring my experience and my best version to the team, as well as demanding the same from my teammates so that together we continue to grow as a group,” he concluded. With this addition, SD Ibiza reinforces a key position, consolidating its commitment to a competitive team with aspirations to stand out in the current season. Fans are already looking forward to seeing Perales in action in the next official matches.
