This Tuesday, January 14, at around 11:00 a.m., there was a serious accident on the road that connects to the traffic circle of the ITV in Ibiza. Three vehicles were involved in the collision, two of them collided head-on, while a third car was hit by ricochet. All vehicles were completely destroyed after the incident.
No serious injuries
Despite the force of the impact, the authorities confirmed that there were no serious injuries among the occupants of the vehicles. This fact has been assessed as “a stroke of luck” by the witnesses of the accident.
Removal of vehicles and cleaning of the roadway
The Guardia Civil intervened quickly to regulate traffic in the area and facilitate the clean-up work. Numerous metal and glass debris were scattered on the roadway, which required the immediate action of the maintenance teams. The accident vehicles were removed with the collaboration of Grúas Ibiza, while the cleaning services completed the restoration of the road. Shortly afterwards, traffic was completely restored.
Call for prudence
The authorities have taken advantage of this event to urge drivers to exercise extreme caution, reminding them that respect for traffic regulations and attention at the wheel are essential to avoid similar accidents.
