At noon this Sunday, La Peña Deportiva could not defeat CE Europa at home and fell by 2 to 1 in the framework of the 19th date of the Second RFEF. The match started with a lot of intensity from both teams, with very dangerous plays in both fields. As the minutes went by, Peña Deportiva began to take more of the lead and this paid off on the scoreboard.
In the 31st minute, Pablo Picón filtered a ball behind the back of the rival defenders for Fraile to define with great clarity in front of the rival goalkeeper and put Peña Deportiva up 1-0. Although Europa wanted to wake up, the truth is that Peña Deportiva defended well and went into the break with a narrow lead. The visitors knew that they had to be intense from the first minutes to achieve something more than a draw. With a lot of intensity, Europa began to attack the rival goal and after 59 minutes they were able to score through Jordi Cano. After 66 minutes, Peña Deportiva’s joy came to an end, as Pimentel put the scoreboard at 2-1. Although the Santa Eulària team had other opportunities, they could not score and Europa won the match.

With this defeat, Peña Deportiva remains in 12th place in the standings and will host Atlético Baleares next matchday.
