Santa Eulària will have a new four-star hotel establishment. The future city hotel will be located at Paseo de S’Alamera number 7. The project has been licensed since November 2022.
The facility is one of the 96 projects to which the Government, through an Agreement of the Government Delegate Commission for Economic Affairs (CDGAE) and an Order of the Ministry of Finance, has granted regional incentives in the form of subsidies in 11 Autonomous Communities. In this case, it received a subsidy of 1,291,519 euros. Meanwhile, the overall project is estimated at 6,797,470 and is expected to generate 14 jobs. The Governing Board of the City Council, in the ordinary session of November 4, 2022, approved the basic project, “drafted and digitally signed by the architect Josep Ferrer Llaneras, promoted by the mercantile entity Paseo de Salamera S.L. in which it requests a municipal license for the construction of a four-star city hotel tourist establishment, to be located in Passeig de s’Alamera, nº7, Santa Eulària des Riu, subject to the conditions established in the reports and authorizations in the file, as well as the general conditions established in the current legislation”. This after on October 6 the same Governing Board also accepted the termination of the lease of the plot of land at Paseo de Salamera number 7-9 corner with San Juan number 3, which until then was used as a parking lot by the City Council. In addition, it was necessary to proceed to group the three registered properties that make up the plot located on that corner, which total an area of 908.00 m² on which it is intended to build.

In order to carry out the work, an ” extension of the subway medium voltage line and a new transformation and metering center in the civil works building” had to be carried out , approved on March 2, 2023 by the Board of Directors. From the date of approval of the urban development license, a period of 24 months is foreseen for the construction of the hotel. Although an extension of another 18 months may be granted “provided that the construction ratio is at least 50% and the facades and roofs are completed, including exterior carpentry, and all this is reflected in a certificate from the project management”.
The project promoter
The company Paseo de Salamera SL is located in Madrid. According to the CNAE classification, it engages in the activity categorized as “Construction of residential buildings”. The company was incorporated on March 30, 2020 by public deed, with an initial share capital of 3,000 euros. Only on October 23, 2023, the capital was increased by 4,997,000 euros, reaching a total of 5 million euros.
The Aguas de Ibiza project
It is not the only hotel project underway in the town of Santa Eulària. The tourist group N’Calma, specialized in luxury, owner of the Hotel Aguas de Ibiza, pioneer of luxury in the village of the river, the Nativo, in Cala Llonga, and behind the conversion of the Racó des Sol into a five-star hotel in the bay of Sant Antoni, is planning a new boutique hotel in the center of the town. It has been baptized Herencia and has 30 luxury apartments, with areas between 40 and 50 square meters, designed to be operational throughout the year.
