The Regional Ministry of Education and Universities, through the Directorate General of Vocational Training and Educational Planning, has opened a call for financial aid for companies and non-profit organizations that hire students enrolled in intensive dual vocational training. This call, which has already been published in the BOIB, aims to improve the quality of intensive dual vocational training in the Balearic Islands for the 2024-2025 academic year. The grants are aimed at companies and non-profit organizations that have hired at least one student enrolled in a training cycle of intensive dual vocational training in the islands through a training contract in alternation, during the period between September 1, 2024 and next August 31.
Amounts
For the 2024-25 academic year, up to 300,000 euros will be earmarked for these grants. Each company or entity will be able to receive a maximum of 2,000 euros per student hired during the whole period, with a limit of six students per company or entity. Applications can be submitted electronically through the Electronic Headquarters of the Administration of the community until March 24. These grants are compatible with other subsidies for the hiring of vocational training students, provided that the total cost of the subsidized activity is not exceeded.
