The National Police have arrested seven people, two women and five men, of Spanish nationality and aged between 34 and 60, for their alleged involvement in drug trafficking and membership of a criminal group.
The operation, called “Blau“, has been carried out by agents of the UDYCO group of the Ibiza Police Station, managing to dismantle an active point of sale of cocaine and heroin located in the neighborhood of sa Penya. According to the investigation, this point of sale was managed by an organized group led by a man and a woman, who directed the operations, supported by several collaborators who performed secondary tasks on an itinerant basis. The operation took place on January 16, with simultaneous searches in three homes: one in Sa Penya, where the point of sale was located; another in the neighborhood of La Marina and a third in the area of Dalt Vila. During the searches, the agents seized several quantities of narcotic substances, precision scales, split cash, pounds sterling, dollars and stolen objects which, according to the investigations, would have been delivered by buyers as payment for the doses. The operation is still ongoing and further arrests are not ruled out in the coming days.
