At Santa Eulàriathe restaurant Project Social has joined the local solidarity with a campaign aimed at helping the most vulnerable people in Ibiza. In collaboration with the charity organization 24-7 Ibiza, actions have been launched to collect food, clothing and basic necessities that will be distributed to those most in need.
A partnership of solidarity
The restaurant not only acts as a collection point for donations, but also donates 50 cents from every tourist burger it sells to 24-7 Ibiza. In addition, it has committed to double the donations received, up to a maximum of 250 euros per month, to expand the impact of the campaign. Among the items most in demand are non-perishable food, such as canned food, pasta, rice, and UHT milk, as well as warm clothing and basic personal hygiene products. Donations can be delivered to Project Social, located at 22 Calle de San Lorenzo, Santa Eulària.
Help for the winter months
With the arrival of winter, the need for sleeping bags, thermal clothing, gloves, hats and socks becomes more urgent. Pet food is also requested, a detail that reflects the effort to cover the different needs of the affected families.
The work of 24-7 Ibiza
24-7 Ibiza, a non-profit organization, has been working for years in Sant Antoni and Ibiza town to support people in vulnerable situations. Its work includes food and clothing banks, as well as providing showers and basic services for homeless people. The organization has pointed out that the support of initiatives such as Project Social is key to sustain its activity on the island.
How to collaborate
Those who wish to join this cause can make donations at the restaurant or make financial contributions directly through the 24-7 Ibiza website, which also details other ways to contribute to the campaign.
