During January 23, 24 and 25, the Local Police has carried out an extensive device in the towns of Es Canar and Santa Eulària. Santa Eulàriafocused on the inspection of establishments, controls of people and vehicles. This operation, which is part of a strategy to strengthen safety and regulatory compliance, has resulted in 32 reports and complaints.
Inspections of premises and detection of irregularities
The device included the review of commercial establishments, where six inspection reports were raised, revealing 29 violations of the Activities Law 7/2013. The irregularities detected are evidence of the firm intention of the authorities to ensure regulatory compliance in the activities of the municipality. In addition, during these interventions, four proceedings were opened for possession of narcotics and a record was recorded for carrying a sharp object, reinforcing control over behaviors that may affect public safety.
Traffic controls and penalties
In the traffic area, police controls resulted in the immobilization of three vehicles and six administrative complaints: two of them for driving without a license and four for licenses not valid in Spain. In addition, four criminal complaints were filed, one of them for drink-driving and breach of sentence, another for driving under the influence of drugs, and two more for drinking and driving. One case of negligent driving was also detected, which was sanctioned administratively.
