The Civil Guard of Sant Josep has arrested a 26 year old man as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of robbery with violence and intimidation in a house of Ibiza. The arrest took place last Wednesday after the individual was surprised and chased by a neighbor.
According to the Armed Forces, the events occurred in the vicinity of the Can Cifre traffic circle, where a patrol was requested by a citizen who was running after the suspect. The detainee had entered a house, stole several personal items and fled on the run.
Immediate pursuit and arrest
The Guardia Civil agents initiated a chase after receiving the alert and managed to intercept the individual a few minutes later. After his capture, he was taken to police headquarters for the instruction of the corresponding proceedings. Once the formalities were completed, the detainee was handed over to the judicial authorities, who will determine his legal situation in the next few hours.
