As part of the work of the Local Group of Private Security of the National Police in Ibiza, in December a surveillance device was deployed that led to the detection in a residential area of Sant Josep, of obvious irregularities in the service they had contracted for security.
The facts came to light when, after the relevant surveillance and management, the investigators of this specialized group identified an individual who was carrying out surveillance work in the aforementioned urbanization. At the time when the police officers set out to verify that the individual was properly trained and accredited for their functions, and the relationship with the company that had hired him was correct, they detected that the minimum legal requirements for this activity were not being met, reported Saturday from the National Police. For all these reasons, after hearing the parties and examining the documentation submitted, the company that provided the service has been proposed for sanction for incurring a very serious infringement for “The hiring or use, in private security services, of personnel who lack the corresponding authorization or accreditation” of Law 5/2014, of April 4, on Private Security.
