The businessman Víctor de Aldama, considered the alleged “procurer” of the Koldo case Koldo casecase, with ramifications in the Balearic Islands that affect the Government of Francina Armengol, has assured that he has in his possession “much more sensitive” evidence than those already presented to justice and that, in case of revealing them, his life “will be much more in danger”. This is what he said in an interview on the program Horizonte de Cuatro, in which he insisted that he has documents that can directly affect the Government and the PSOE.
De Aldama’s statements come as the investigation into the Koldo case is progressing. Koldo casecase, a corruption scheme involving high-ranking government officials and in which the collection of illegal commissions in public contracts during the pandemic is being investigated.

During the interview, De Aldama revealed that part of the conversations and files on his cell phone have been deleted, assuring that his encrypted backup copy of WhatsApp also disappeared. This complaint had already been exposed days before by the president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, who warned about the disappearance of key information in the case.
“It is no problem because we have been able to recover it,” the businessman assured, adding that this data will prove that the Minister of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory, Ángel Víctor Torres, “is lying.”
An envelope with “very forceful” information affecting Moncloa
One of the most tense moments of the interview was when the businessman was asked about an envelope containing sensitive material that could compromise the government.
“It is a very strong evidence that has to be explained very well. We will talk about it when we have to talk about it in court,” said De Aldama, without going into further details.
The businessman also wondered why the PSOE is “so nervous” about the contents of this envelope and assured that the information it contains “goes directly to Moncloa and has a very big shock wave”.

The judge of the Supreme Court, Leopoldo Puente, has asked the Central Operative Unit (UCO) of the Civil Guard for a detailed report on the economic and patrimonial situation of José Luis Ábalos and his son. In addition, 17 witness statements have been scheduled between February 25 and March 5, including former high-ranking officials of the Ministry of Transport and businessmen related to the scheme.
For the moment, Ábalos ‘ statement has been postponed to February 20 at the request of his defense. The former minister, who was removed from the PSOE leadership in Congress, has disassociated himself from the case and denies any involvement.
