At midday this Sunday, Peña Deportiva managed to end its bad streak of matches with a 3-1 home win over Badalona, in the framework of the 22nd round of the Second RFEF.
The team from Santa Eulària knew that this was their chance to get back to winning ways, as they were facing a Badalona team that is not going through its best moment.
First half with problems
The first half started with a very even pace for both teams, this is due to the fact that neither team had clear chances on goal in the first few minutes.
As the clock ran down, the visitors tried to improve, but they were able to stop the home team’s defense.
However, in the 37th minute, Guille Andrés was able to send the ball into the back of the net and put the game in Badalona’s favor.
When everyone thought that the first half would end with the advantage for the visitors, Larry sent the ball into the back of the net and made it 1-1 to go to the break.
The rebirth of La Peña
From the first minutes of the second half, it was clear that Peña Deportiva had entered the game much more determined to win the match and gradually began to dominate the game.
In the 51st minute, Victor, from the flank, faced inwards and hit the top corner of the net to put La Peña up 2:1.
Minutes later, at 58 minutes, Kiko González headed in a great free kick cross from Barroso to make it 3-1.
Although Badalona wanted to wake up, La Peña neutralized it in a great way and managed to take the match by 3 to 1 and cut the bad streak in which it came.
Next match and classification
