UD Ibiza continues its great form after beating Betis Deportivo 1-3, achieving its fourth consecutive victory and climbing to third place in the table.
The celestial team had to come back from the opening goal of the green and white subsidiary, but responded with authority thanks to goals from Bebé -who arrived in the winter market- and a brace from Davo, who debuted as scorers of the team. With a solid offensive game and control of the match, Paco Jémez ‘s team demonstrated their candidacy for the promotion places, already stalking Antequera and Real Murcia at the top of the standings.
The match started with a cold shower for UD Ibiza, when Usse Diao put Betis Deportivo ahead with a powerful shot from outside the area in the first minutes. However, the Ibizans soon reacted and began to impose their game. The Celeste’s insistence was rewarded in the 24th minute, when Bebé broke down the left flank and assisted Davo, who pushed the ball into the net for the equalizer.
After the break, Jémez’s team kept the initiative and managed to turn the score around. In the 60th minute, Bebé scored a great goal with a shot close to the post, making the score 1-2. With the game under control, the UD Ibiza sentenced in the final stretch with another goal by Davo, who took advantage of a rebound to close the final 1-3.
