OK Mobility and Meliá Hotels International have reached a new strategic alliance that will allow members of the MeliáRewards program to accumulate points when booking a vehicle through the global mobility platform. The agreement consolidates the commitment of both companies to offer more complete travel experiences with added benefits for their most loyal customers.
From now on, MeliáRewards users will be able to earn 6 points for every euro or dollar spent on car rental bookings made through the OK Mobility website. This benefit will be valid in any of the more than 70 Stores that the mobility company operates in 17 countries on four continents, expanding the options for travelers in both urban and vacation destinations.
A high-impact alliance for customers
The signing of the agreement took place at OK Mobility’s headquarters in Palma de Mallorca, where its founder and executive chairman, Othman Ktiri, welcomed the president and CEO of Meliá Hotels International, Gabriel Escarrer. Ktiri stressed that this alliance “represents a significant milestone in our mission to integrate services that simplify and enhance the customer experience, connecting their mobility with their hotel stay in a natural and efficient way”.
For his part, Gabriel Escarrer emphasized that the collaboration “reinforces the MeliáRewards value proposition, expanding the opportunities to accumulate points and consolidating our commitment to the customer experience, accompanying them at every stage of their journey.” A
Both companies also share their origins in Mallorca and are members of Exceltur, an association that brings together the main companies in the Spanish tourism sector and promotes a model of responsible and sustainable tourism.
This agreement not only generates new value opportunities for the hotel group’s most loyal customers, but also strengthens the competitive positioning of both brands within the tourism sector. With this alliance, OK Mobility and Meliá Hotels International continue to commit to strategic collaborations that expand their value proposition and move towards increasingly comprehensive and global travel experiences.
