The acquisition of The Pacha Group by FIVE Holdings in October 2023 marked a turning point in the history of nightlife and luxury hospitality in Ibiza. Far from being a simple corporate transaction, the purchase inaugurated a process of profound reinvention, in which Pacha’s cultural legacy was merged with FIVE’s signature model of high performance, digital innovation and operational control.
With the transaction, FIVE assumed full ownership of an iconic portfolio that includes Pacha Ibiza, Hotel Destino Pacha -now renamed Destino Five Ibiza-, Hotel Pacha, Toy Room, WooMoon Storytellers, The Pacha Collection and, of course, the Pacha brand and its cherries, one of the most recognizable symbols of global clubbing culture.
Technology, control and global expansion
From the outset, the strategy was clear: respect Pacha’s DNA while introducing advanced management tools. FIVE implemented a total digitization of ticket sales, improving transparency and efficiency, along with a reinforced financial framework that includes daily revenue monitoring, CCTV-supported audits and artificial intelligence anomaly detection.
At the same time, artistic collaborations between Dubai and Ibiza elevated the programming, reinforcing the brand’s global appeal without losing its connection to the island.
Record results: Pacha as a pillar of the group
The PACHA group, acquired two years ago by Five Holdings, achieved an EBITDA of 40.5 million euros thanks to its crowded nightclub and the repositioning of the Destino hotel.
Pacha Ibiza: one of the best seasons in its history
Much of this growth is explained by the performance of Pacha Ibiza, which signed one of its strongest seasons ever:
-
156 events
-
551,558 attendees (+20% y-o-y)
- Revenue growth of 17.57% year-on-year 17.57% year-on-year
The nightclub reaffirmed its status as a world reference in nightlife, combining tradition, major brands and optimized management.
Destination Five Ibiza: luxury repositioned
The repositioning of Destination Five Ibiza, reopened on June 1, 2025 after a thorough renovation, became another of the group’s great successes. Converted into a five-star luxury resort, it reached:
- ADR of €575 (+40% year-on-year)
- 82.95% occupancy ( vs. 77.42% in 2024)
- Total revenue growth is 9.59% and room revenue growth is 16.13% compared to 2024, despite a shortened season due to construction.
The new design, service standards, a defined musical identity and the reinforcement of sustainability policies directly boosted revenues and EBITDA in the hotel area.
From iconic club to global lifestyle brand
The Pacha ecosystem expanded beyond clubbing. The merchandising division that develops the Pacha collection recorded:
- +58% in revenues
- +74% year-on-year in retail sales in Ibiza stores
- +30% in wholesale sales
- +132% in e-commerce
This data confirms Pacha’s evolution into a global lifestyle brand, with growing international demand and a direct connection to a demanding global audience.
Cherries as a symbol of a new era
In just two years, The Pacha Group has gone from being a historical icon to a high-performing business unit, without losing its cultural weight. Under the FIVE Holdings umbrella, cherries no longer symbolize just the Ibizan night: they represent a proven model of growth, reinvention and enduring appeal, poised for further expansion on a global scale.
